Bright Futures is hosting a Personal Hygiene Drive this week in conjunction with Senior Night at the basketball game. We are inviting students and families attending the event to bring hygiene items that will go directly back to students in need across our district. #ESED

5th grade literacy is proud to announce that Dakota Still took 3rd place in the Elks Lodge sponsored writing contest. Dakota’s essay will now travel to the state competition. This year’s theme was, “What Does Patriotism Mean to Me.” 🇺🇸. #ESED

Mrs. Franco & Mrs. Fry’s class constructed a model of a human finger to discover the mechanism by which their muscles control their bones to move their bodies! 🦴💪🏻 #ESED

Remember the good old days when book flyers went home and you spent hours looking through it to figure out what you wanted? Now your kids can enjoy that memory too. Encourage them to pick up a flyer in the FMS library. Orders are due February 18th. All points will be used to refill our book vending machine. #ESED

A huge thank you to all the students who participated in the snowman decorating contest sponsored by the FMS library. Competition was tough but these three students got the votes! Congratulations! #ESED

5th grade dissected owl pellets and found some pretty awesome bones inside! #ESED

Seth Fiifi Graham Acquaah did a fantastic job representing FMS Saturday at the Washington County Spelling Bee in Elkins. We are very proud of him at FMS! #ESED
