Our FMS kiddos are still enjoying the swings that PTSA/FMS worked so hard to get toward the end of last school year!
Remember that the last day to get your PTSA orders in is tomorrow, August 26th!! If you're not interested in purchasing merchandise, PTSA does accept donations that help our teachers and your children! Please follow the Farmington Middle School PTSA Facebook Page for more information about how you can help!

Mrs. Chase and Mrs. Burgess’ classes worked to “Save Fred!” Both classes used their teamwork skills to help save Fred (a gummy worm) from a capsized boat (a cup) and get a live preserver (a gummy life saver) onto Fred! We discussed what it takes to work as a team and what it means to be a great teammate. What a fun activity to wrap up our first week of school at FMS!

Attention Afternoon Car Rider Parents!! Below is a map for reference to see how afternoon car riders parents should line up.
1. Please fill row E&D first and leave enough space at the front to get cars out. After E&D are full please fill up row C where it is marked. After row C is full please fill up row B then row A.
2. When row B & A are full we will then feel B circle. When filling up B circle please stay on the outside lane so we can get our aftercare bus and another bus through the inside lane. After all areas are filled please stop where black line is on the map by rows E&D and fill up the rest of the parking lot where the X’s are.
3. Please do not pull in where we have no cars marked on the map. This allows teachers and parents a lane to get out at the end of the day if needed. If the parking lot is full and you need to check a student out you can park up at the top of the parking lot where the map says checkout parking.
4. We will dismiss rows E&D first. Then we will dismiss rows C,B,A and then B circle. After we dismiss D&E we will fill up rows D&E again until the parking lot is not full and there is no need.
The buses will be loading and unloading over by the old football this year so there will be no walkers or car riders dropped off or picked up in that lot. Please DO NOT DROP OFF STUDENTS IN THE BUS AREA.
Thank you!
