Hand washing is an important habit for students to develop in order to help reduce spreading of bacteria and viruses that may cause sickness. Germs are not always visible, so we don’t always realize that they are even present. To aide our glow germ investigations 5th graders put their hand washing to the test in PLTW! The “dirty hands” variable showed signs of bacteria first As we predicted in class.
